As a Senior Member of IEEE, Dr. Pirani has over 1,400 citations and 71 publications, collaborating with industry leaders like General Motors and Scania. He played a pivotal role in the WATonoBus autonomous shuttle project and co-founded ROASYS Inc., focusing on intelligent traffic management systems. His research group, ROASys, is dedicated to traffic optimization, urban infrastructure resilience, and automotive cybersecurity.
